Phlox paniculata ‘Laura’ is a striking herbaceous perennial producing clusters of scented, mauve-purple flowers with white centres and a dark central eye. An essential ingredient in herbaceous and cottage garden borders, Phlox ‘Laura’ has a tall upright growth habit and forms large clumps which bloom over a long period from July to September. FIlling the air with perfume on warm summer evenings, this perennial Phlox also has good mildew resistance for an easy display. Try cutting a few stems for a vase indoors too! Height and spread: 90cm (36″).

Plant Phlox into perennial or mixed borders. Choose a sunny or semi shaded position in fertile, moist, well drained soil.
Feed and water regularly throughout the growing season. Phlox stems may require staking with garden canes to support their tall stems. Deadhead faded phlox flowers to encourage more blooms to be produced. In autumn, remove old foliage and apply a mulch of well rotted manure or garden compost to the base of the plant in spring.
